June 4-8, 2006 Community Vacation Bible School. 130 kids (3yrs-7th grade) and 55 adult/youth teachers and helpers enjoyed seeking out the truth about Jesus in "Quest for Truth".
“Quest for Truth – Jesus the Way, The Truth, The Life” was an “Indiana Jones” theme program where the kids dug into the scripture to investigate Bible places and people. Each day started out with a rousing opening and music for all age groups after which the children were separated into classes for the theme-based bible lesson, action bible drama, snack and crafts. Each day ended with a finale to reinforce the daily bible point one more time. This year we learned that Jesus is our promised savior, Jesus is God’s son, Jesus shows mercy, Jesus died and rose to save sinners and Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit.
